ANNUAL WRITING COMPETITION

The Saraswati Sangam Project deeply cares about nurturing the next generations of engaged youth that are aware of our heritage and are motivated to contribute to the advancement of science grounded in Vedic Knowledge. The annual writing competition and the youth mentor program are designed to facilitate and enable youngsters in their educational and career pursuits aligned with and empowered by the shared roots of our ancient heritage.

The writing competition is targeted at the middle and high school students of Indian origin (in the age group of 12-22) where they are invited to write an 1500-word essay on "Current Scientific Relevance of Ancient Vedic Literature". The participants can choose any scientific discipline of their and any period of literature older than 300 years. The top 3 winners will get cash awards and in addition, the top 10 essays will be selected for the mentor program where the mentee will be matched with the mentor with more than 25 years experience in science, engineering technology for guidance on educational and career pursuits
